Alexandria Arts Advisory Capitalizes on National Harbor Growth

Here's an article we recently submitted to Virginians for the Arts. The organization is seeking short essays on how Virginia arts firms are contributing to community. Submit your story to Trish Poupore at VaforArts@aol.com.

Shauna Lee Lange Arts Advisory, based in Alexandria, Virginia, and serving the metropolitan Washington DC region since 2006, is now helping artists, gallerists, museum curators, arts non-profits, and arts advocates capitalize on new surges in commercial growth caused by the increasing development of the National Harbor complex.

The National Harbor is a mecca for residents, visitors, and corporations. This entertainment and tourism mega-site includes fine shopping, upscale-dining, five-star hotels, marinas and piers, and a host of convention and tourism related attractions. Water taxi service recently began transporting visitors to and from the National Harbor to the arts-enriched community of historic Old Town Alexandria.

Galleries, artists, and organizations who seek creative business marketing ideas to attract and retain the growth of this economic boom are turning to Shauna Lee Lange Arts Advisory. Lange, the original founder of her firm, brings business analytics, systems organization, and visionary and accurate genius to the community. Together, Lange and arts related Alexandria entities are improving the entire corridor to promote diversity, vibrancy, and staying-power within the arts.
